I just discovered a Finch Feeder I didn't know I had. It's a mesh bag full of small black seeds. I just went to two websites. One said they migrate south during winter, the other didn't say. Should..

For about a week of so, a small bird the size of a female finch, has been hanging around the feeder. Everytime any other bird comes to the feeder, this little bird starts acting like a baby or a fem..

Is this a gold finch? I often hear this in the birch tree in front of the house and can never spot the little fellow. Jackie
